Pictures

All of these pictures were taken by Kevin Kurbs, at various times with an Olympus D-560 Digital Camera, they are on here either because they are good, or make good backgrounds... or better than Justin Jacobs' ones. Autumn
All of these pictures involve New England foliage.

Autumn River
This is the Assabet River from one of the many fishing stations positioned along the nature trail.

Orange and Blue
This was a cool shot of a tree, I thought the color combination was beautiful.

Yellow
This was a cool upwards shot of a nice yellow tree on the Nature Trail

Tree of Fire
This is a tree on the nature trail next to the high school.

Condo Tree
This is a tree in front of my condo... I was walking back from fishing and thought it was a nice shot.

Flowers
These are pictures of flowers at my houses or neighbor's houses.

Pansies
This is an interesting picture to me because of the purple flower in the middle surrounded by white, or very light purple flowers.

The Bird
This is a bird that was in a tree near my house, I managed to get very close and I love the shot... it is under flowers because...look at the bacground, I was taking pictures of a flowering tree when I noticed the bird.

Purple Flower
This picture came out very nice, and probably would not have been found without the help of Carlos Santos, as he inspired the pictre taking spree I went on.

Moonrise
This is a nice contrast to my sunrise picture, taken a few months later, walking down the beach at night. This picture is far more impressive if veiwed full size.

Bonfire
Finally, the Fourth of July series can come out, this is one of the bonfire.

Other Bonfire
This is the neighbor's bonfire the same night.

Kevin's House
This is the house I stay at in Hull.

American Flag Picture
This is one of my favorite pictures, and is also the background of both of my mother's computers... it comes out very nicely when used that way.

Old Glory
A nice Black and white version of the American Flag Picture above.

Clouds at Dusk
This is a shot to the left from the house I stay at, it is later at night with a slower shutter rate, so it is a little fuzzier... it still looks really cool though.

Sunrise
This is my personal favorite of all of the pictures I have ever taken... I woke up at 7 AM on a Saturday in the summer to get this shot, which I am very proud of.

Waves in the Morning
This shot is from the same house, but facing left, towards the Nantasket beach shoreline... every day when I am there I run the full length of this beach for lunch then run back.

Animals
These are all pictures I have taken of animals that belong to myself or people who I know.

Curious Nicholas
Another picture of Nicholas, this time trying to see what keeps flashing in his face, which would be my camera.

Abby
This is a picture of my neighbor's dog, Abby.

Zoe Meow
This is my mom's cat Zoe... the evil one... meowing to try and fend off my neighbor's dog, Ally... see below.

Nicholas
This is my dad's girlfreind's dog, Nicholas... he is a Shit-Zu (aka Little Shit) and really likes Courtney even though he's only seen her once... he tried to get in her car. Damn Shit-Zus.

Zoe
This is my mom's cat, Zoe. She is evil and tries to kill me at least once a day.

Curie
This is my neighbor's cat, Curie. She sadly passed away a while ago at the age of 15 years old.

Toby and Juno
These are my mom's freind's dogs. They adopted them both from an animal shelter, and are both very loving and VERY funny animals... the little one chases the big one around then the big one tries to sit on my lap... he thinks he is the size of his head.

The following are pictures that don't quite fit in other categories.

Ripples
Ripples in the Assabet River... squirrells were eating something, acorns maybe, and dropping them, so I set up, and got it all focused so I could shoot when it fell, and I got a few single drops, then 3 or 4 fell at once... that is this one!

Suggestive Tree
This tree resides in front of my Mother's condominium, don't even tell me it isnt suggestive to you.

Mountain Stream
This is a stream on Mt. Lafayette, taken on an Outdoor Club trip.

Mountain Cabin
This cabin was at the base of the above-mentioned Mt. Lafayette

Lilies
Lillie pads at Tripps Pond... very serene picture.

Clouds
Awesome shot of the clouds, taken at Tripps Pond.

Doughboy Monument
This is a monument on Main Street in Marlborough. The inscription beneath the soldier says it all... Lest We Forget

Assabet River
This is taken from the bridge I fish at a lot.

Other Side
This is the other side of the bridge I fish on... I love the reflection

The Candle
This is a candle at my neighbor's house... I like the way it turned out with no light surrounding it, and the only light coming from the center of the shot.

Joe's Stream
This is shot from an island in the middle of the stream. It runs through my mom's freind's yard, in Connecticut.

War Flag
It seems to me like IR glasses looking through a rainstorm at our flag... I really like this image, and it inspired my photoshopped section.
