I realize that some people come here and like
the pictures but have no idea how to actually get one for their wallpaper.
So, here are some instructions and information for the not-so-computer-literate people
among us.
The Wallpapers:
-
The images on this site are designed to look best with the common
1024x768x32 resolution (that about 70% of the visitors to this site use). They are all nice, compressed jpegs. The
images are designed to fit your screen, and should not be tiled.
-
Displayed in the wallpaper galleries are thumbnails (small versions)
of the images. To see the full size images, simply click on its
thumbnail or its title.
Right-clicking:
Windows users can use their right-mouse to help with many things.
Right-click or right-clicking means to hold your mouse over
a graphic and then click your right mouse button. A menu will come up, and
the options you will be interested in for this site are:
-
"Set as Background"
-
"Save Picture As"
Downloading The Images:
-
One way (and probably the easiest way) to set your wallpaper is to
right-click on the full sized image and select "Set as Background".
However, this method will erase the picture from your computer each time
you do it again.
-
To save an image on your computer, and be able to change wallpapers
without coming back to the website again, right-click on the full sized
image and select "Save Picture As". With Windows 98 and above, it
doesn't matter where you save the image. Just put it in "My
Pictures" or wherever you prefer. You can save as many pictures as
you want. Then, right-click on your desktop, and go to
"Properties". There, you can go to the tab where you change the
wallpaper, click on the "Browse" button to find the image you just
saved, and set it as your wallpaper.
